Gold Coast Australia: Surfers Paradise & Beach Front Market (Day 2)

Hi people!

Today's entry will be about Surfer's Paradise. Where to go, what to eat, tips on the things I know and maybe could help you guys when you are travelling there *insyallah*. Here's the thing, parking in SP is expensive. Those free ones and cheaper ones are quite a distance from the beach themselves. Since, we are driving our own car, we had decided to park here at Circle on Cavill. You can check out a list of parking right here. How expensive is expensive? We parked here at about 4 hours which cost us AUD10. We feel that it safer if we parked in the covered basement where there is security.

After our halfday tour at Sea World, we went straight to Surfer Paradise to find some souvenirs to bring home. We used our Tom Tom gps to navigate to HRC Surfers Paradise and end up somewhere near Circle on Cavill. Parked and we are on our way!

A mom's tasks is never ends.
Mixing some milk for Ruzain on the escalator.
Dangerous but necessary. Haha!

Once we are up on G level.
We are a bit confuse ourselves.
We wanted to see a couple of things.
Hard Rock Cafe, Surfers Paradise Beach front market and Starbuck for Wifi.

We definitely look lost right?

Right! hahahaha...

Lari sat dari cite.. I cam mak datin tak dgn specs beso I nih.. hahaha.. perasan kan?? Tapi jarang tau I nak dressy2 camnih.. muahaha.. harap maklum..

Hurray! We found JRC with a huge construction in the middle of the road.

If you are lost, no worries.
There is an information centre here.
Very2 helpful for us to navigate around the city.
If you need any help just stop by here and the lady will definitely help ya!

This kebab shop here is HALAL.
Baha's pizza @ kebabs!

So much to see!!
I stop by my favorite accessories shop Lovisa.
But the pricing is almost similar to those in KL, and I decided not to buy anything here.
I can just go to Paradigm Mall and buy them there.

Ripley's believe it or not.
Nope, we did not go in here as well.
The kids are still too small to appreciate the display here.
Better just spend some time walking and sightseeing.

Oh yes. If you are searching for parent room.
Not to worry, there is one here. Close by the beach.

Again we are lost.. Sesat2 jeks kejenyer.. hahaha...
We are trying to find HRC but end up at the wrong place.
Anyhow, there is an Old Time Photo Shop here and bowling alley as well.
Did we found HRC. Stay tune for more k.

Surfers Paradise Beach Front Market

We actually wanted to find few trinkets to bring home. Something to remember us by here in GC. So, the beach front market is one of the places that I had highlighted to Mr. Bob that I wanted to go. However, we end up with nothing here. The prices of these products are quite expensive and there is no actual magnets or key-chains that we could buy for souvenirs. There are many local made products, but you can find them much cheaper and easily here in Malaysia as well.

My feet are started to ache!
We walked the whole day.
So, took off my shoes and just observe other passersby.
Ruzain is enjoying himself wandering around stalls which are nearby.

Now, let's enjoy ourselves at the beach.
The sand cooling beneath our toes.

Family Photo Op!!

Wash your sandy feet here?

Time to put back our socks and wander back home.

Oh yes.
All photos are courtesy of my lil bro Hazim.
Our unofficial photographer.

Ok bubbye Surfers Paradise.. Until next time *insyallah*.
