Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak 2017

As'salam my fellow beautiful readers.. I hope it's not too late to wish all of you such a blessed Ramadhan Al-Mubarak. Alhamdullilah.. today is our 4th Ramadhan and I am very happy to able to celebrate my first with Nenma, Tok Ayah, Mama Ngah and Ayah Ngah. They were visiting their new home in Putrajaya, so I took the chance of cooking for the family. Yeay!

Our first Ramadhan menu was Nasi Arab with Roast Chicken and Johore Bandung Soda. Ya Allah.. mmg nikmat. Hehe. Then, as usual we had a side of salad and Nenma bought a side of Lasagne. Who cares!! Everything tasted so good.

Our Bandung Soda.. I drank a whole of it.. and end up with gassy tummy..

Salad, tomato sambal and roast chicken

Our 2nd day of Ramadhan, was even more blessed when Papa return home from Wuhan China. We missed him so much. He was gone for more than 2 weeks. When he requested for some simple noodle soup, I certainly made him yummy pot of hot noodle soup. Even Ruzain was happily slurping away the noodles.

My rendition of hot noodle soup
Yesterday, menu was quite simple.. Nasi Lemak and Sambal Sotong. I did deep fried a couple of chicken drummet for Ruzain as he couldn't eat the Sambal Sotong. The nasi lemak is even more so fragrant as I infused it with some saffron a gift from Nane after returning from her Balkan trip.

So, tell me? How's your iftar has been? I'm sure no matter where you are in the world, iftar is celebrated best when surrounded by family. :)

Mumble Jumble...

Hi beautiful readers!!

I know that I have been so guilty of being such a lazy ass recently. Guilty.. guilty.. guilty.. but to my defence.. my life have been so quiet that nothing seemed to be blogging worthy. As usual, work have been piled up that most activities seemed to be like any other day. Daily chores, sending kids to school, cooking lunches and dinners. Yup2.. everyday normal stuff.

Mr Bob is currently away for his China training trip which left me bored to my very core. The trip will last for a couple of weeks, now I will be in charge of Kakak's midterm revision up till this coming school holiday. *holiday please come fast*

Ruzain just recently had his school trip to Putrajaya wetland. But I don't know, maybe boys will be boys.. he looks bored and aloof for this trip which makes his mommy looks to eager to send him off. Pffffft. Anyway, he did tell me some interesting stories about spiders sculptures in the wetland which makes me want to go and have a look as well.

I know that this entry is such a bore and I promised to share more about our home decorations maybe in the upcoming entries. Insyallah.

Ok take care for now my darlings!!

Smile adik... smile..

Kasik senyum sket jer kat mommy dia..

Teachers day present for his class teachers.. Teacher Nur and Teacher Ira.. Hope they like it..

Super Top Restaurant Kuantan Review

Both Mr. Bob and I refused to spend so much for dinner at Mangala Resort and so decided to have our dinner somewhere outside of the resort. However, we had to travel quite a distance (30 mins) to be exact to our location Tanjung Lumpur. After reading multiple reviews on Google and Tripadvisor, Super Top Restaurant was our target that night.

We arrive around 7pm at the restaurant, the crowd wasn't so bad. Mr. Bob straightaway went to choose our seafood and place our order. Some of the seafood like the cockerels and the squids have a minimum order of 500g which I personally thought was ridiculous, given the fact that only the two of us will eat the majority of the food. The children will only have bites of bits and pieces.

What we ordered? We had Kang Kung belacan, Kailan Ikan Masin, Butter Prawn, Steamed Cockerels and deep fried squid. Personally, the food quality was average and the prices were on the high side. Our dinner cost us about RM 135 (with no fish). Maybe the prawns are expensive.

Mr. Bob nudged me to order one lobster, and I asked him if he was crazy enough to spend RM185 that one dish. Hahahah!

Maybe next time we will try other restaurant nearby and hope that we hit that jackpot.

Kang kung belacan

Butter prawn are a must try!

Average tasting deep fried sotong

Steamed Cockerels.. not that fresh.. Dissapointment

Mangala Resort and Spa, Kuantan ~ Malaysian Mommy Blogger Review (Day 2)

Hello2... as promised, today I will be sharing on the activities that you and your family could enjoy in this resort. Let me just tell you first that service you will be receiving is so exceptional that at the end of your stay, you will be missing the friendly smile of all of the staffs here. Heck, I could even remember some of their names. Our concierge was Izzat and Jack, both just love to entertain the kids. My masseuse was Lily and she spend the whole of 2 hours messaging and doing my facial treatment which is a definite must if you are here.

Anyway, our 2nd day is filled with activities. We start off with a bit of archery, then some kayak time, horse riding and mama spend her me time at the Spa. See everything for everyone. The activities are all compliment of the resort, except for the horse riding. Horse riding cost RM50 but the children actually made 8 rounds around the stable as there is no other guest. For that 50 it was totally worth it. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We also did try out the lunch at the restaurant, however, was not that happy with the service (which could be more efficient) and the food prices. I could understand that hotel food is expensive but with simple dishes running up to RM 25 per plate, well I guess it was kind off pushing it. My seafood pasta cost comes up almost RM50 per plate. Shocker! Well at least we tried. I guess if you were lazy enough to go out from the resort, splurging once in a while is ok. :)

Some basic instruction first

Having a go!

Kakak and her attempts.. Haha. I guess good for first try.

Papa and adek..

Then with Kakak...

Then papa.. Hehe..

Nuggets for the kids

Refreshing Coconut

My seafood pasta, not as good as the one I had in Shanghai

Papa Club's sandwich

Dessert of Banana Split
After lunch I was swept away to the Mangala Spa to tried out the Relaxing massage and facial. They were aware that I was pregnant and ensure that certain safety precaution was practiced. All in all, I was so relaxed and felt wonderful afterwards. How much it all cost? Well, they had a promotion this time and cost RM150 per hour which I thought was a bargain considering the place was luxurious and exclusive.

They ask for me to choose the massaging oil. I end up choosing Lavender.

All this to yourself

You can take a shower before the facial treatment

Looooove~~
