Baking a New Hobby?
Is baking a new hobby for me? A definite no. But it has been a long time since I last baked. With a full time job, 2 kids and a hubby, I had actually buried my love for baking. There is definitely lack of time and I found myself spending more time going out with the family instead of staying at home.
So, just recently I found myself volunteering to baked for a special event at the office. *Gulp* No tools, no ingredients at home. I just couldn't bake anything. Sobs.
Persuaded Mr. Bob to bring me shopping for all of the essential tools for baking and piping. :) He of course very gentlemanly said yes and he paid for everything. Double yes.
We did our initial shopping at Cold Storage Alamanda.
Most ingredients were there.
We bought extra ones *was not that essential* like decoratives, just for the sake of fun!
All the glitters and colours.
I really need to get my time sorted so that I can practice before the actual event.
Oh yes.
Somehow, I ended up with *black* as my 'gadgets' in the kitchen.
I thought pink would be fun. But most electrical items do not come up with the colour pink! Sobs.
Aaaah. That doesn't stop me to deco with a splash of pink here and there around the kitchen.
Flowers and pillows are a definite must.

Oh, and since Mr. Bob has offered to take up the bill.
I had cunningly, and quietly place a garlic smasher into the trolly as well.
Saw a few LI chefs using this.
Hik hik.
But when I was cooking yesterday, and I wanted to do it fast, the smack of the knife is definitely faster and more convenient.
