Pureen Warehouse Sale @PJ ~Tips and Review
Assalamualaikum...
Hi ya folks!! Today I would love to share with you guys on my thoughts of the Pureen Warehouse Sale! Although, I've been to quite a few warehouse, this was my first time trying out for the Pureen Warehouse sale. Based on the many reviews that I read through blogs and websites, everyone said it was worth it to go. However, for this time round, prices was found slightly higher as previously each piece of baby shirt range to only about RM3. Now, the cheapest was at about RM5. Heck I thought even RM5 per piece was good buy since Pureen's product is good in quality so why not just try and go.
The first tip that everyone was throwing at you is that you must be early. Now, I am quite 50/50 on this. When we first arrive (15 mins earlier from the opening time), there was a bout 50 people (or more) already queuing up to go inside. Everybody was standing really close to one another and it was hot. Imagine if you are 6 to 9 months pregnant, would you really want to be queuing up for some time standing outside the gate? No right. So, my suggestion is to wait until the first batch of shoppers to push their way in first, then once everyone is inside, then you go out from the car and make your move towards the further end of the warehouse right to the clothing area. Do not even think to stop at the products section as you will missed out even more in the clothing section. This way, you will be one of the first but you will not have to push about with other maniacs at the entrance.
Secondly, grab a bag, and start shoving clothes with the sizes that you want. Don't think about matching it up. Just start grabbing and throwing anything you find interesting down your bag. Since Baby R has many new born and 3-6 months clothes, I decided to just scout for clothes from 6 months up to a year. This process is quite fun actually. You don't have to think a lot, find anything you like shove it in your bag. Be careful though, you have to navigate through rough daddies and grannies that couldn't care less that you are carrying a special cargo in your tummy. I took the relax approach and waited until the person in front of me had their fill and then move in and have a go.
Thirdly, streaming mode. Now, once you start weighing your bag and feel that it is quite heavy and filling. Find a streaming spot. Cruise and take your time matching up your baby's outfit. Take out those that you decided not to buy and PLEASE BE DECENT ENOUGH, to place back those unwanted clothes to the appropriate place. I stream beside other moms but since I stayed sane and did not take a whole loads of clothes, the time a spent mix and match only took me for a couple of minutes.
Forth, go pay fast. Seriously, everyone was complaining there was a loooong queue at the check out counters. It was really immediate for us (maybe we were still early). There was many counters, around 16 check out counters and you have to ring your purchase first. If you decided to pay through your debit card/credit card, you will be brought to another counter (after ringing) and they will charge it there. Cash would be a better choice and payment process could go faster.
First round is done and only RM140 was charged (3 pairs of shoes, 2 hooded towels and 10 pairs of outfits). Hurrah!
Now, we walk back up front the warehouse and look into all the offers of Pureen products. The price were slashed really2 low. Usually a bottle of yogurt bath could cost you about RM13.90 in AEON but at the warehouse, it is only RM 8 per bottle. You guessed it, we bought loads. :) We bought top to toe wash, ABD detergent (RM18 only), yougurt bath, tooth brushes (RM6 per pack of 3), teether, pureen baby bag (RM28) and other smaller stuffs you see down here. Total?? RM 200.. Nice right?
So, make sure that you won't missed out on another Pureen warehouse sale. I know I wouldn't. ;)
