Last day in Maafushi and off to Hulhumale! (Day 4)

Our 2nd last day on Maldives, we had to travel back to Hulhumale (airport island). We spend that morning on the beach as the children wanted to say good bye to all the hermit crabs that they had collected. Ruzain met with a Korean boy on the beach and each of them tried to show off their catch.

I've requested to Mr. Bob to have a final stroll around Maafushi and visit their gift shops. But its Friday and most of the shops are close on Friday. I found 1 shop and fall in love with a sculpture of a dolphin and some corals, so I bought that for our home.

We were transferred back to Hulhumale using a bigger speedboat which was way more comfortable that what we had a couple of days ago. Although we had to share with 3 other passengers, I was ok with that.

We stayed at Ocean Grand Hotel and I highly recommends this hotel should you want to transit before your flight.They had their van picked us up at the airport jetty. The service was impeccable and the rooms are very comfortable although quite small in size. The hotel also provides good wifi and a wide range of tv channels. The beach was good (not that great if compared to maafushi) but still ok. The kids had a blast playing in the evening.

For dinner we tried the roof top restaurant and seriously the food was wonderful. Pricey but good. Wait everything is pricey here. Haha! Anyway, we had a good night sleep and had a good flight home to Malaysia the very next day.
