Patong Beach before We Go!

How I wish we could visit the beach every single weekend! The time that we spent in Patong seem such a short one. :( Each afternoon (right after nap time), we will spend some play time on the beach. The kids have such a blast digging and playing with the sand. Bear in mind there is no shades around, and the sun is super hot. You may however, choose to rent an umbrella and mat like we did.

This beach is beautiful and clean right opposite of Holiday Inn which makes it such a strategic place to stay. I also brought some biscuits and drinks for the kids to enjoy while playing.

Under the shades!

Our view.. beautiful white sand

Mr. Bob my hero!! He got me some delicious nutella roti..
Anyway, walking back from the beach we had to make a compulsory pit stop by the kids pool as pool dipping is in order. At Holiday Inn, you will find 2 kid pools, which both are only about knee length. Both have kids slides. :)

After our afternoon dip, we had an early dinner once again at Sansabai Restaurant. This time round, I wanted to try the lime sauce squid which was truly mouth watering. Alhamdullilah. If you ever visit this place, that dish is a definitely a must try.

Patong Beach and Tiger Kingdom

How are you guys? I've been missing to write more entries but seriously time is so limited nowadays. Well today I'm sharing our third day in Patong Phuket. Since, our driver had informed us that he will not be able to pick us up around 9am that morning, Mr. Bob and I decided to bring our kids for a short walk at Patong beach. It's quite early so there were not so many people around. The sand is so fine that the kids couldn't resist playing with it.

Morning at Patong beach

I want to kick of my shoes and roll on the sand mommy!

Many boats around

Building one right now.. hihi
So, around 10am we walked back to the hotel and wait for our driver Mr. Chai. He pick us up in a comfortable SUV. We decided to use Mr. Chai transport services because he offered free ride if we purchased the Tiger Kingdom tickets from him. Nice right? Oh yes, each ticket costs us THB1000 (per pax).

We had chosen smallest tiger package so that even Ruzain could come in an enclosure and hold a baby tiger. However, unfortunately there were no smallest tiger and kids which are less than 1 mtr are not allowed in the tigers enclosure. They refunded our money and only Farissa and myself are allowed in.

It's valentines day that day

After our tour around the place, the kids wanted to have some drinks and snacks and we decided to have them at the restaurant. We ordered some milk shakes and cool coffee!

Overall, we enjoyed our morning activity and Farissa gain a new lifetime experience (touching a magnificent tiger). :) Once Ruzain is much bigger we will definitely try and visit this place again. Insyallah.

Restaurant Sansabai Patong and Number One Spa

Sansabai restaurant is conveniently located right in front of Holiday Inn Busakorn entrance. Since, we are staying at the main hotel area, we had to walk over to the Busakorn wing. It's not that far though. The restaurant serves mainly Thai or Chinese food. They do also have some western. Since, we are in Thailand, I opt for some Thai food of course!

You could also ordered seafood by weight although I think most of them are costlier than those offered in Malaysia. Anyway, I ordered some sweet and sour chicken, tom yam seafood and asparagus with oyster sauce. The children chomp down all of the dishes like champions.

More seafood and veges!
After lunch, I saw this one spa right across Sansabai and decided to have a foot massage. Price wise its about MYR 40 for 1 hour and it was so relaxing and comfortable. I shoo-ed the kids and Mr. Bob back to the hotel. :D The spa itself was air conditioned clean and big. The hostess speaks good English and was very professional, highly recommended if you're staying in Holiday Inn!

The hotel itself offers some nice Spa but of course price is much higher
Then, later that noon the children and I were off some pool fun time. There were not so many people in the pool because most of the adults will lounge around the deeper pool. So, the kids had plenty of water space to shoot some hoops and splashed around.

Enjoying some cool splashing time!
