Recent Breakaway ~Avillion Port Dickson

We had a very short breakaway during the CNY holidays. Why so short? Because we had to plan it around Kakak's very tight tuition schedule. Yes, kakak will take her UPSR this year so all of us had to loose our vacation days. Haha! We also told kakak she had to work hard in order for her to play hard as well.

Since, Mr. Bob seriously didn't want to travel far for CNY (because of all the traffic craziness) we opt for somewhere quite close to KL which is PD! Hurraaaah!

Alhamdullilah we also booked with a good price through the resort website. Another hurrah!

We had lunch near PD city centre. Had some chicken rice and mihun soup.
Our room was the furthers from the lobby. We didn't care much though. It was spacious, cozy and has such a wonderful view of the beach!!

Additional day bed for kakak.. We push the coffee table aside and voila!! Play area..

This was at noon and it was super hot.. so no one is allowed to be out!

Our view.. waaaaah.. so nice..
I think it was around 5pm when we brought the kids to the pool to have a nice dip. The adult pool was under reno works so everyone had to cramped in the baby pool which sucks big time. Anyway, since the pool was quite pack and there is no available benches for us, we had to wait for some time for a free sun bench. In the end the kids did had some fun time going down the water slides and lil Rayyan waddling in the pool.

My lil baby boo and my big baby boo.. hahaha

Abg in the pool also!!
After pool time, comes beach time. We had some fantastic sand play for a while. But let me tell ya, this place was super hot. There was literally no shade. I really hope the resort could invest in more items which hotel guest could actually use. Maybe it was a public beach so it was difficult for them to place extra benches with umbrella here, but it was really hot. So we couldn't really lay back on the sand and watch the kids play.

Shade comes from some of the water chalet

Thinking should I play with the sand...

Yes.. yes I should..
It was an early dinner for us as we didn't want to dine in crowded restaurant during peak hours. So went out at about 7-ish for dinner.

Hey where is mama in all this pics?!

Coming back from dinner.. @ the hotel lobby
Tomorrow morning after breakfast we promised the kids that they could play with the animals on the resort's farm. We had nasi lemak and rendang ayam just outside the resort as I refuse to pay RM 100 for breakfast. *cheapskate* pfffttt... The breakfast outside was just as good as we had roti canai, teh tarik, pulut kuning and rendang ayam. :) Sedap jugaaaak...
