Singapore Zoo 2018

This year school holiday, Mr. Bob and I decided to go to Singapore since we are picking up the kids from Nenma's house in JB. Bought the tickets through Klook during the 11.11 cybersale. The price were seriously cheaper that purchased through the zoo's counters.

We print out the zoo tickets using one off the on-site kiosk and the process was a breeze. What's even more worthwhile is that if you suddenly had to cancel the trip you could still go to the zoo up to 5 months purchasing it (this happen to us since Ayah Chu and Yamyam wasn't able to come on that day). Yam yam was having fever.

We arrived at the zoo at about 8.40am (zoo opens at 8.30am), lucky for us the checkpoint process from JB to Singapore only took us about 30 mins to go through! Haha. I've packed so snacks for the kids, drinks, biscuits, bread as the zoo allows visitors to bring in their own food. Just be sure that you don't loose the tickets since each tram ride require you to show those tickets!

Kakak ask for the zoo map at the entrance and we decided to go for animal feeding instead of shows. So, our first stop was the elephant feeding. Everyone got a chance (including baby Rayyan to feed the elephants) for 5 dollars per basket.

We had lunch at KFC after a morning tired from walking and trailing animals. The cool aircond was such a welcome to us since it was a very hot day. We end up spending around 40 dollars for lunch. Which is quite a sum comparing to the price we pay in Malaysia. Haha!

While Rayyan took his nap in the air-condition KFC, Ruzain and kakak had a fabulous time at the water playground. I brought the kids swimsuit and there is a comfortable changing room next to the playground. Truly convenient and well thought. There is also two staffs to ensure the safety of the children. Small children must be accompanied by an adult so Mr. Bob sat by the area (many benches) for parents to sit and monitor their own kids.

Another amazing attraction was the new are know as the fragile forest. Where there are many animals free to wonder around. They are so close to the touch that Ruzain had a very hard time walking around as he is afraid of most animals. Poor kid.

Last but not least we took tonnes a photo at the dragons and beast display. Many animatronics of  dragons to feast you eyes out. I personally had never watched dungeons and dragons, so I didn't recognize any of the dragons. However, the kids seem to fascinate over them, well I guess its an added bonus.

All in all, we had such a wonderful time at the zoo and wouldn't mind going there again insyallah.
