Wedding Fever~

Alhamdullilah.. the last brother in law has finally married! Family members from Sarawak has flown down to Penang to celebrate this event. Well not actually flown down, we all drove up from KL to Penang. I have book through airbnb a house that could accommodate 16 people, you read that right.

The wedding took place around Gelugor. I believe this was our first time stayed in Gelugor. Nikah falls on Friday afternoon right after Friday prayers. I was quite amazed to see the bride and groom doesn't wear white for solemnization. Usually its either white, silver or cream. However, no matter, anything looks good on the bride. :)

After maghrib prayers, we went to the bride's rental house, where we had dinner. We were served 'kampung food' which was delicious. There were a small pelamin where the bride put on her henna. She was wearing a yellow songket which was lovely. :)

Nenma and nane attended the wedding reception on the very next day. We've got to sit around the VIP table which was customary for the bride side to allocated some seats for the groom family. There were also cendol, laksa and apam balik (which was super crunchy).
