If you are looking for a halal restaurant around Patong area, not to worry as there are many Restaurant available. Today I would like to share with you guys Casablanca restaurant (which serves Indian and Arabic cuisine). This particular restaurant even comes with Halal Certificate that is awarded by the Halal Standard Institute of Thailand. To get to this hotel, you must first find the Royal Paradise Hotel and Spa. It took us roughly 20 mins to walked from Holiday in to this hotel. The children (being children) were whiny all the way and I did somehow promised a ride a back using the tuktuk. :D
The hotel was not hard to find and the restaurant is situated in the heart of Royal Paradise Hotel. It is not in the main lobby but you would have to walk towards the hotel swimming pool area. It was really quiet when we reach there as we are the only customer at the restaurant. We ordered a variety of cuisine just because we would like to try out the masala chicken and also the bryani rice. The hostest/server (a heavily pregnant lady) was the only one in front of the restaurant. She returned with our drinks fairly quickly which was nice and cooling.

All in all the food was delicious. Well the
tandoori chicken was a tad dry as it was reheated I think but the rice was quite tasty. The children seemed to be pleasantly happy with their rice as well. Price wise it is quite in the mid high range (depends on your order). But the ambience was quite hard to beat. It was comfortable, open and airy. If we had another chance visiting Phuket, we will definitely check out this restaurant once again.
